This week has been less than fun-filled. On Sunday, I fly to Chicago for training. I'll be back Tuesday night.
I know I'm behind in email, blog reading, link fixing on my site and odds and ends for friends. If I owe you something, please be patient and give me some time.
I won't be online in Chicago 'cause I don't have a laptop. I will have my cell phone though. :)
Peri had a really good time at my co-worker's for the weekend. He got to spend a lot of time outside playing with 2 other dogs.
I snapped a few pictures of him last night so you could see how big he's gotten! The center and right photos were taken with my phone.
Brad brought a surprise home for me last night (he had to go to work and I had the day off). I picked up the cats from the vet and ran a few other errands and caught up on some sleep. Apparently, I caught up on too much though because around 3:30am my body thought it was time to wake up. I didn't listen though and stayed in bed until 5:30 (normal wake up time and also Peri had woken up).
My desk in total chaos:
These were mostly taken with my phone camera. And mostly not by me. I didn't have ahold of my phone for a lot of the weekend. Yay for having 2000 minutes.
Don't bitch about the photo quality because Brad's phone takes better pics, but we only used mine. :p
We took a bunch on the phone and not so many with the camera. I have to find out where they got uploaded to though.
More links and stuff about the people I met, but for now, I'm pretty damn tired and want to go through my email quickly before I go to bed. Unlike most of the people we hung around with, I was computer-less but was able to borrow :Brad: and :adi:'s laptops so I could take a peek at my email and look at a few blogs. I also got on IM a few times from my phone, but that was also a popular device to play with (and a bit of a pain to IM with) so I didn't spend a ton of time on it either (though we called :A: a zillion times!).
Oh, and next time, I'm not going to pick a flight that leaves so long after checkout. Ugh!
Update: My suitcase was searched after we checked it. Interesting.
The animals are dropped off at their respective places (thanks, Brad!). The laundry is done. The house is relatively tidy. Someone (thanks, Gina!) is going to feed the fish and check our mail for us. Music CDs are burned. The new Evanovich book is on my nightstand (and will be packed in the morning). Our flights are still scheduled (leaving at 12:40pm, not 11:something like I thought originally). Directions are printed. The camera is packed so I'll do my best to take a ton of pictures. Brad has his laptop so I'll be able to upload them when I need to. No puppy means I get to sleep in. As much as I miss Peri, I won't miss our 4:30 or 5am morning potty break.
All kinds of fun people to meet tomorrow. Lots of relaxing to be done. I can't wait!
