I'm going to be sponsoring both of these fine efforts:
The first is Sphinxy and Ericalynn. They'll be participating in Philly's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Click for more info.
The second is the 2003 Blogger Boobiethon that Robyn's putting together.
Even though I'd gotten a new keyboard and mouse (wireless) back in May, I needed to replace it. The left control key kept getting stuck all the time. And the mouse was always telling the PC that the batteries were dying. I replaced batteries at least twice this month.
The new one is by Logitech (Cordless MXTM DuoTM) and damn if they'd don't have an ergonomic one after all. I got a straight keyboard because I didn't know and I didn't feel like going to a zillion stores looking around. It'll take some time to get used to this keyboard but I'll adjust. Plus the mouse has rechargeable batteries (and is the really good one according to Brad).
Trillian announced a patch for 2.0 Pro. "There is a patch available that should fix the issue. This patch is ONLY for Trillian Pro 2.0. DO NOT apply this patch to any other version of Trillian."
You have to have the pro/pay-for version to install this patch. They said to keep your eyes out for patches for their other versions.
I've installed the patch and can get on Yahoo again!
Dear Sir or Madam,
I'd like to apologize for the removal of your blog link from my site. My life has gotten very busy and complicated and I had to remove some blogs so I could gain a little "sanity" time back for myself. It's not that I didn't enjoy reading your site, just that there weren't enough hours in the day even using :NC:.
If you leave a comment once in a while, I'll be sure to drop by from time to time.
I didn't realize that Sam had updated today (since I haven't read blogs yet today) so I called him to make sure he was alive and well. He said he's ok, his house is ok, his truck is ok but he's still without power (8 days now). He was touched that I called him.
Ok, I'm leaving work now.
Ok, this is as as much as I can figure out. I think I've over-committed myself and I'll probably need to be committed when I get back home. ;)

Tonight I'm going to post my schedule for my October trip (since it's rapidly approaching - eeek!).
I haven't heard from the Boston bloggers, so I don't know if there really is a gathering over Columbus Day weekend or not. Also, I'd like to get together with a bunch of people in the DC area when I'm there, so maybe a get together would work out then. It would be some time on Monday 10/20 or Tues 10/21 (evening, I'd assume).
More info coming tonight. Honest!
1) We're back from the mountains. It was lovely up there. Brad took a bunch of pictures but I haven't uploaded any of them yet. He has to fix the color balance on the ones taken on the way back home because the camera was set on "indoor" color balance.
2) CaseyMae's birthday party was a lot of fun. I have a bunch of pictures from that too and will work on getting those uploaded.
3) Peri had a blast at Jim & Scott's house (they have 4 dogs, of various sizes and shapes). He ran around, played, romped around, ate too much and got really dirty. We got back a brown puppy who can barely lift his head off of the floor because he's so tired. He's too cute. I'm going to give him a bath tomorrow and see if we can't get him cleaned up a little bit.
I'm going to look into the problem with my feeds and Feed Demon, but not tonight.
