Well, I've upgraded. And now I'm getting the dreaded 500 errors. I'm too tired to mess with it right now, but it is saving comments, etc if you decide to post one. I've enabled my web server error logs so I'll have something to look at tomorrow.
Life is busy these days.
Arisia is going to start requiring more of my time as it gets closer and closer to January. I really need to drag my cohorts to the con hotel and look over the space where Registration will be. New hotel this year.
There's also the Boobie-thon. 5th year. I'll be looking over the schedules I've set and making sure that we're sufficiently staffed for next week. Have you submitted your photo yet? ;)
Family. My dad and stepmom are arriving on Friday, October 6th. It'll be nice to see them. They'll get to see my new room, since we've moved things around since the last time they were in town. It sounds like we might go apple picking while they're visting. I've been pretty busy lately, so I haven't seen my bro, etc as much as usual, but that'll change next weekend. :)
Dating. Yup, dating again. And it's good. 'nuff said.
Errands. OMG the errands. I need to take my car in to get the oil changed. My mouse died so now I'm sharing the laptop mouse between 2 computers. Not really the best way to do things. My computer also could use more memory, but I'm not sure what's in there, etc. There's also the list of 100 tihngs to pick up from 64 different places. I'm going to try to run some of them tonight. I hope. If not, I'll have to try this weekend after I finish working on Saturday.
Friends. I'm going to go watch Dave and the band he's in on Saturday night. Unless the whole getting my hair cut at 7:30 am on Saturday morning wipes me out (followed by 5 hours of work). :p
Also, I'm finally going to a Ren Faire out here. I'm really looking forward to this. I had fun when we'd go to the Colorado one.
Plus I need to upgrade my blog software. ;) I did a test run last night and it seems like it shouldn't be a problem. I have to clean up my installed plugin list first though.
Anyway, that's what's going on in my life right now. :)
A reader alerted me to something else going on locally...
Boston on Tuesday, Oct. 3rd
Epicurious.com is holding the benefit dinner to raise money for America's Second Harvest. They're also encouraging Epicurious readers to host their own at-home dinners for friends and ask for donations, and are supplying top chef menus, printable place cards and invitations, etc., on the website (epicurious.com).
The dinner's at Via Matta.
It sounds like fun to me! :)
(Thanks for the info, Jo!)
From my Treo...
Yesterday is a dream, tomorrow but a vision. But today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well, therefore to this day.
Today we released a mandatory security update for Movable Type and Movable Type Enterprise to resolve a number of cross-site scripting vulnerabilities. To make updating your system easier, we are providing patch distributions for Movable Type versions 3.32 and Movable Type 3.2 containing only the files which have changed.
So you should upgrade. Yeah, so should I. Tomorrow though. :) Tonight we go to the airport!
It would appear that I am unable to get to Google, Google Maps, Gmail or my calendar. So, you could leave me a comment somewhere (I get notifications via RSS or LJ tracker), IM, IRC or smoke signals.
I'll post again when things are normal. Well, when Google comes out to play. ;)

Update @ 4:40:
Everything seems resolved over here. Thank goodness!
What TV show(s) will you be watching this season? Why? Submitted by ducnly.vox.com.
Gilmore Girls. Love love love it. Love the characters. Veronica Mars. Also love it. Maybe even more than GG. Boston Legal. Mmm, James Spader. Also, he plays a great character. Law & Order: SVU. Only when Boston Legal isn't on because they're on at the same time. Monk (via BradTV). More characters that I enjoy watching. Psych (via BradTV). This one is new and has been fun so far.
The first 4 are via Tivo. The last two are captured by my ex and mailed to me once a month. ;) You're jealous, aren't you? He even removes the commercials for me!
Is there a friend who you owe a phonecall or email? What's stopping you?
*sigh* Yes. The two women who I was closest to in Colorado. I've been shitty about keeping in contact with them and it drives me batty. Sometimes it was my depression preventing me from reaching out to them. Sometimes it was that I was busy. Sometimes it was that it'd been a while and I felt like a lousy friend. But almost every day they're in my thoughts. Damn it, I need a thought to email translation device!
A quick heads-up that we are now taking early photo submissions at the fifth annual Boobie-Thon. By making an early photo submission you help us make sure the site is already filled with content on launch-day (October 1st). You can find more information on how to submit photographs, and what kind of photographs are accepted, here.
We also still need volunteers (especially a PR coordinator and male photo editors) so please read my last blog entry if you're interested in helping us out.
We'd love to have your help, your photos, etc. Also, we'd love it if you'd post about this and help spread the word!
