[from a mailing list I'm on, but timely as my niece got a child's bible for Xmas]
In the beginning, which occurred near the start, there was nothing but God, darkness, and some gas. The Bible says, 'The Lord thy God is one,' but I think He must be a lot older than that. Anyway, God said, 'Give me a light!' and someone did. Then God made the world.
He split the Adam and made Eve. Adam and Eve were naked, but they weren't embarrassed because mirrors hadn't been invented yet. Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating one bad apple, so they were driven from the Garden of Eden. Not sure what they were driven in though, because they didn't have cars.
Adam and Eve had a son, Cain, who hated his brother as long as he was Abel. Pretty soon all of the early people died off, except for Methuselah, who lived to be like a million or something.
1. Snow _is so much prettier than rain, but sometimes a pain if you have to be out driving in it_. 2. I'm looking forward to _getting out of the house ever again (eye doctor appt on Saturday seems to be the first opportunity)_. 3. _J_ is the best _sweetie_ ever! 4. One of my favorite old tv shows is _The Pretender_. 5. I'm done with _something, but not my holiday shopping yet_. 6. The most enjoyable thing around the holidays is _seeing family, playing with the kids, sharing time together_. 7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to _hopefully going to a friend's house for a solstice celebration_, tomorrow my plans include _eye doctor appointment, decorating a gingerbread house, dinner and stuff_ and Sunday, I want to _have the weather be warm enough to keep the roads clear so I can get Suzanne to the airport on MOnday morning without stressing too much_!
It was my joy to officiate at your wedding! And you were a lot of fun
