I need a new camera. My old one didn't love me so much after dropping it, though it limped along. It was really a matter of time until it died.
So, what would you recommend? I don't need a crazy fancy camera because I'm not looking to spend that kind of money on it. I like having a good zoom (optical, not digital) and a small form factor.
So she went withSpanning Sync. With it, she can make updates on her Treo or computer or G'cal and sync all of 'em. It's easiest to sync changes made in G'cal or her computer (iCal) because the sync program that talks to iCal only lets you pick one category into which you can import your Palm entries.
Anyway, much love to all of you helpful people who replied! Thank you for all of the info!
My roommate has a pretty Macbook Pro and was wondering if there is some simple way to sync with Google Calendar. She doesn't have a .mac account and would prefer not to get one.
I'm sure there's something out there, but honestly, I don't always know what I'm reading when it comes to Mac stuff. :p
Thanks for your help!
What a crazy amount of storage space to have... at home. That always seemed like an impossibly huge number (it still does, but it's mine!).
This is what I got: Western Digital My Book Premium Edition II - 1TB, 7200 RPM Triple Interface (USB 2.0 AND Firewire 400/800) External Hard Drive
Now I just have to get it hooked up. :D
I was visiting with Dave acould weeks ago and he showed me this cool program that let him use one keyboard/mouse for all of his machines. He'd gotten a new laptop, edited the config file on his Linux box and tah dah! he was able to move the mouse from the Linux box to his Windows laptop.
I decided this seemed like a very cool thing and downloaded it tonight. It's called Synergy and is very cool. So now I can copy a URL from my PC and paste it into the browser on my laptop.
Well, I've upgraded. And now I'm getting the dreaded 500 errors. I'm too tired to mess with it right now, but it is saving comments, etc if you decide to post one. I've enabled my web server error logs so I'll have something to look at tomorrow.
So I went back to the audioblog.com site today to see if those mysteriously missing tabs were there and they were! So now you get the "thrill" of hearing me talk. Spiffy. :)
Score one for me (and for those tabs that finally showed up). :p
I installed LJPost this morning. LJCrosspost was a much more complicated plugin that required a zillion plugins. This one just needed LJ::Simple (which you install by making a "LJ" directory in your extlib and FTPing Simple.pm as ASCII to it).
So tihs is my test. :)
[PS: Thank you goes to entrope for pointing out that there was a new LJ plugin!]
