We got new monitors at work today. 24" ones!

Holy crazy resolution. Now I have to figure out how best to use the new monitor... do I close the laptop and only use the new monitor? Do I try to figure out how to position the laptop and monitor so I can use both of them?

Building woes

It sounds like they've put a bowling alley on the 8th floor of our office building. Now, that's actually very unlikely, but cripes it's noisy! And dust raising.

A quick note

The plane got in 45 minutes early last night. The flight was uneventful and I slept most of the time. I managed to stay awake until midnight local time so that I woke up at a decent time this morning. My brain is still confused about what time it is, etc. Breakfast was very tasty (fresh fruit, yogurt, muesli). Yay for 25% off coupons from the hotel. Ok, time for training!

Going to Seattle

It's almost time for me to head to the airport for my week of training in Seattle. Brad and I are going to meet up while I'm in town, but we haven't figured out what touristy things we'll be doing, so if you have any suggestions, please let me know! :)

My first day of work

This was from yesterday... Today was more reading of documentation, installing software (I have to figure out how to use Eclipse), patching, etc etc etc. Lots to learn and do.

Fired

Yeah, so. Um. Update: I'm ok. Sad, but ok. I'm at my roommate's office so I'm not off all alone. And I'll figure out a game plan and find something else, something that makes my brain happy.

I'm not sure how it happened, but the three of us were born this month. So, happy birthday to us. :)

3.31 is here!

Yesterday, we released Movable Type 3.31 and Movable Type Enterprise 1.02! There are great new features (and oodles of bug fixes) in this release. Also, you can save up to 30% until August 30th, so what are you waiting for? More info about Movable Type Enterprise.

Movable Type 3.3 is locked down and ready for release! Are you ready for it? :) Update: Check out the final release candidate while you patiently wait for 3.3 to be released (it shouldn't be too long but this will keep you busy in the meantime). Also, there's a poll on blogging software.
